Powerbass's "S" Series S-682 6x8" Coaxial speakers offer great performance at a great price. The 2-layer paper cone has been treated with DDC (Dynamic Damping Coasting) for rich sound and reduced distortion while adding ultraviolet protection. A low profile 0.75" pure silk dome tweeter is used to deliver accurate treble reporduction - just like the tweeters found in expensive home systems. The drop in replacement feature allows an OEM fit in most factory locations, making these the perfect choice for a inexpensive sonic upgrade to your current car audio system or simply replace those worn out speakers. The S-682 unique basket design is compatible with both 5x7" (Mazda and Ford) and 6x8" locations. Grills are not included in this package since factory grills are appropriate for most installations.
